Clearly visualising people, things and places in my mind's eye is something I'm unable to do, being aphantasic.

My mind uses different methods to remember how things look and where they are placed in the 3D space around me. It's a mystery to me how it does it.

My art is an exploration of using these hidden places in my mind to construct an image that I can't see until it's on the canvas.

I mainly use acrylic, graphite, watercolour and goauche. I love nothing more than taking portions of different photos and combining them with other ideas into a single finished artwork.
